Battlefield 3 offline multiplayer?

COD: Black ops is the first cod i played, i was planning on getting the MW3 game this November until i saw the beauty that is BF3. it's what i have been looking for in a fps. My question is, based on BF in the past how is the offline multiplayer. Did BF2 have an offline multiplayer, did it any AI, did it offer a lot of what online multiplayer offered (Like COD does). Sometimes i like to sit back with some friends and play offline, i also love sitting back and playing against the computer in a multiplayer setting like COD black ops allows. I am asking this based on information from previous BF's

Battlefield 2 did indeed have an Offline Bot Mode, with 63 Bots (You being the 64th Player) However, Battlefield Bad Company 2 did not have an Offline Bot Mode. So right now we don't know if there will be an Offline Bot Mode or not.Battlefield 3 offline multiplayer?
There will be 3 modes in BF3, singleplayer, co-op and multiplayer.

The singleplayer mode will last 7 hours or more (depends on the difficulty) and you wont be able to play it with a friend (like the co-op).

The co-op mode will have 10 missions, maybe more after launch, and its for two persons. The missions will be similar to the singleplayer but it will be a separate history.

The multiplayer will allow 64 players on pc and 24 on consoles. There will be 5 multiplayer modes.



I think that what you are asking for is the co-op mode. Like i said it will be only for two players.Battlefield 3 offline multiplayer?
