Will this laptop supposingly run Battlefield 3 on multiplayer with max graphics?

Reason why I do not want a desktop:

I travel every now and then.

And that game is gonna be cool.

NO CUSTOM LAPTOP COMPANIES!

THE ONES I LOOKED AT HAD U-G-L-Y LAPTOPS!!!!!! HIDEOUS!@!@!@!

So would that run BF3 on maxed graphics?

Thanks.

Also, would you recommend a different alienware laptop that costs around that much? Right now the $3k (which are as low as $1,400, but end up being $3k in the end) is too much of an unrealistic dream, it's a dream dream.

The $1k one is a more realistic dream which'll turn into $2k easily.

But all I need to know is would that run Battlefiled 3 with maxed graphics? ON MULTIPLAYER!Will this laptop supposingly run Battlefield 3 on multiplayer with max graphics?
I notice you mention the M14x, as also "I travel every now and then"

So if portability is an issue %26amp; you find those 17" screen systems bulky, I would suggest you take a look at 15.6" screen systems

The Asus G53 series has similar specs to the Asus G74 / G73 series

but weigh considerably less, besides being some bit smaller in dimensions

Lets checkout the ASUS G53SX-XR1 %26amp; it's a customizable one

basic build is as below,

Model: Asus G53SX-XR1

Display: 15.6" FHD Glossy (1920x1080)

CPU: Intel庐 Mobile Core i7 2630QM

RAM: 8096 MB DDR3 1333MHz

HDD: 640GB 5400RPM

CD: Super Multi DVD卤R/RW / CDRW

Wireless: Built In WIFI %26amp; Bluetooth

$1,249

Hard drive is 5,400 rpm, get a 7,200 rpm one

else it's good enough to go

Good luck, if it helps cover 'portability' angleWill this laptop supposingly run Battlefield 3 on multiplayer with max graphics?
Honestly, if its possible, building a tower rather than buying a laptop would be cheaper and you would be able to buy more powerful hardware.

Does it need to be a laptop?

If so I would recommend an i7 series intel processor with at least 4GB of DDR3 (1600mhz) and at least a 1.5GB DDR3 nVidia GeForce GT 555M

Of course I can't promise this to run at max settings...

Getting a high end gaming laptop that will support max settings on next gen games for %26gt;$1,000 is a dream indeed...
