How to get out of multiplayer to main menu in battlefield 3 for ps3?

i can't get back to main menu not even to a different game without restarting the game i tried everything else is this an early release glitch?How to get out of multiplayer to main menu in battlefield 3 for ps3?
It sucks... U have to go to the dashboard...
