Battlefield 3, geting Disconnected from Multiplayer?

hi my husband is playing battlefield 3 on PC and he seems to keep getting ''disconnected'' from the multiplayer servers, like randomly..sometimes every 5min or 20-30 min

at first me and my husband thought it was our router so we switched the routers (yeah i have more then one laying around)

still has not fixed the issue , we also tried resetting the settings and opening proper ports and what not , my husband knows a lot about computers, things should work fine, but he keeps getting disconnected from the game.

i have a computer in the other room, and i am not having any connection issues.. like all i got open is gimp, my blog and google that's it. so i couldn't be stealing like a load of bandwidth doing that...

hes getting messages like ''connection timed out'' other times it says connection droped or something like that

but i did read about how Battlefield 3 runs on EA servers and that it's not the first time EA has screwed up a game launch like this..apparently EA servers are unstable to many.. i found only a hand full of ppl getting the same problem but they all think its there connection and not the servers, at the moment i'm saying its the servers not our connection, cause i have no problem with the internet.

i also have read ppl on the xbox are having worse problems then ppl with the PC version.. or maybe its cause ppl with PCs are questioning there connection rather then the EA servers and are not reporting it .

so anyone having the same problem?

if so did you fix the problem or is it really EAs fault..if anyone has an official or almost official article by ea or a game site please share . ..cause i want to know what the hell is going on with the severs...Battlefield 3, geting Disconnected from Multiplayer?
I am also experiencing this problem. It occurs at random times for me, however.

I have tested my RAM and it returned good results so it's probably not defective.

Let's use a practiced approach to figure this out; everyone experiencing this problem should list what it is they are running right up to their router so we may identify root cause.

I'll go first:

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium x64

CPU: Intel Q6600 2.4 GHZ Quad Core CPU

Mainboard: EVGA nVidia nForce 780i SLI

Memory: 6 GB DDR2 1066MHz Patriot Viper Blade

Video Adaptor: ASUS nVidia ENGTX460 Direct CU

Audio Device: Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum

OS and drivers are all up to date

I run through CAT5e to a Linksys WRT54G with latest firmware

Hopefully it isn't a conficting software issueBattlefield 3, geting Disconnected from Multiplayer?
Im having the same problem.I basically cant play online as most ive been in a server for is 2 minutes.playing offline was troublesome for me too, but i fixed that when i realised it was a ram issue
