In Battlefield 3, how can you exit out of multiplayer, and go back to the main menu?

I'm new to the battlefield series. I'm on xbox 360.In Battlefield 3, how can you exit out of multiplayer, and go back to the main menu?

Sadly, you cant do it through the game lobby. You can do it when the match starts, but if you do it past 30 seconds into the match it will count as a loss
Click start then quit? Or maybe go back to the dashboard! Good Luck!
