Is Battlefield 3's multiplayer better than past battlefield games?

I have played all the cods since 4. I have only played battlefield bc 2, and the multiplayer seemed really tedious because there wasn't anything to go for. There weren't any killstreaks so unless you really cared about k/d, there was no point. Call me a noob or a fanboy, but killstreaks gave me an incentive to do better, and leveling up seems a lot more natural in mw3. I've heard bad things about bf3 campaign, so is the multiplayer really going to be worth 50-60 dollars when I already have mw3?Is Battlefield 3's multiplayer better than past battlefield games?
If you feel like that then don't bother. BF3's mp is similar to bc2, with some enhancements, but probably won't win you over. Campaign is more realistic (nothing like Red Orchestra though)than mw3's over the top Michael Bay-esque campaign, which I do feel is more exciting than bf3's campaign.

Stick to mw3.Is Battlefield 3's multiplayer better than past battlefield games?
I rarely played BF BC2 but in my honest opinion BF3 is a game for the serious shooter type. And MW3 is for the quick fix fast pace type. There are no kill streaks in BF3 but you do get to use a massive amount of vehicles in the online game. Leveling up with each weapon is rewarding and fun along with leveling up your player. BF3 is more of a team game if you play rush/conquest. And as usual MW3 is same old same old. Me first mentality. BF3 is also amazing visually. My suggestion. Rent BF3 and play the multi player until you cant. You will get a good dose of the action.

Battlefield 3 leaps ahead of its time with the power of Frostbite 2, DICE鈥檚 new cutting-edge game engine. This state-of-the-art technology is the foundation on which Battlefield 3 is built, delivering superior visual quality, a grand sense of scale, massive destruction, dynamic audio and incredibly lifelike character animations.
