BF3. all-out realistic, vehicular, gritty warfare. MW3=MW2=MW=COD3=COD2=COD
It's personal preference, don't let other people decide for you. I personally prefer BF3, mainly because MW3 has just so many flaws, it seems like a beta. But BF3 multiplayer is alot harder and you always have to be on top of your game to succeed. Both are flawed, I would try to play both before you buy.Which should i get for multiplayer mw3 or battlefield 3?
MW3 has way more online players and the story mode is pretty interesting but you said multiplayer and I have played BF3 and the online is good but could be better and when I played it just seemed too easy it was always a bunch of little kids playing and MW3 has that too but Search and Destroy is probably my favorite part of online multi because it takes skills

BF3 has bigger maps which makes it hard to kill. MW3 is quicker fast pace.
