Battlefield 3 - MULTIPLAYER pc specs?

Hi, I'd like to know (before actually buying it) if I could enjoy BF3 MULTIPLAYER smoothly (with decent frame rate and all that stuff) with these computer specs:

CPU: core2quad q8400, 2666MHz

GPU: ATI Radeon HD4850 1gb

Memo: 4gb RAM DDR3

Also, what video config could I run that mode on, "low", "medium" or "high"?

I'm asking cause I understand that multiplayer is pretty heavier to run than single player. Thanks in advance.Battlefield 3 - MULTIPLAYER pc specs?
You will probably obtain low to medium graphics settings, but that is dependent on your LCD/LED/CRT display to determine the resolution in which you are playing from?

Most people will play at 1920x1080+, but if your monitor can not achieve that resolution, you might be able to obtain "HIGH" on 1280x1024 resolutions.

Your system as limitation issues, since Battlefield 3 requires that you have Windows 7 to run the game, so if you have Windows XP; you'll need to buy Windows 7 and install it. Since Windows 7 takes up 20GB of installation space; ensure that you have enough space on your primary hard drive to run it. And since Battlefield 3 also takes up 20GB; not including the updates / patches. The same applies.

With Windows 7, 4GB of memory is not enough, you'll need at least 6 to 8GB regardless of whether it is DDR2 or DDR3; which ever your motherboard supports.

I've played the Beta edition of Battlefield 3 on my Core 2 Quad Q9450 /w a 512MB HD4870 as well as 4GB of memory on Windows Ultimate as a test bed for the game. It ran on medium settings on 1920x1024; however I did notice lag every so often. May be it was because that it was a Beta release, but I doubt it was my primary hard drive at the time of running it; as I was using a 300GB VelociRaptor.

The single player campaign for Battlefield 3 is rubbish in comparison with MW3. I own both titles and MW3 single campaign is by far much better than BF3. Unfortunately you have to play it to experience it or go to Youtube and watch the single player campaigns and determine the difference there. The graphics engine for MW3 in campaign as well as the story line is very well written. However the multiplayer in MW3 is crap and more of a slightly updated version of Call of Duty: Black Ops.

With BF3, I can obtain HIGH on automatic settings running at 1920x1024 resolutions with 70 fps on a i5-2500K, GTX560Ti Hawk, 8GB DDR3 and a SSD.

If you expect to upgrade the video card for that HD4850, you might have to upgrade the power supply also. Just to keep that in mind?Battlefield 3 - MULTIPLAYER pc specs?
get a better graphics card and you'll have an awesome setup. nvidia 550/560 is my recomendation
