Can you turn off swearing in battlefield 3?

I know that there is a lot of swearing in battlefield 3 multiplayer. Is their a way to turn of the swearing or the character voices altogether on the xbox 360?Can you turn off swearing in battlefield 3?
Character voices, yes. Just go to the options, and there should be a panel for adjusting the character voice volume. Just put it to 0.
Demetri, I didn't ask for your opinion, I wanted my question answered. Its not as if I can't "handle" some cursing and other m rated content, I don't know why you would even say that. I am also confused on how I am ruining your gaming experience by trying to turn of the swearing.

I am not new to video games either. And, no just because I asked this question does not mean I can only play E games. I am allowed to play basically all T games and some m ones, but not if there is too much swearing. Stop being a troll and assuming that I am immature because I asked this question.

I don't get how playing M games makes you mature either, maybe you could explain how that works? Thanks for your post as well JBM, I completely agree.

If I wanted a realistic war experience I would have signed up with the military. I want a well built game that is challenging and a fun group experience. Why should anyone care if I remove some non-essential game elements like cussing.

Machinima Dating is right. Why would you get a game with an M rating if you can't handle hearing swearing? I don't know if you're new to video games or what, but in case you didn't know, the back of the game case tells you why the game is rated M. I don't have the game yet, but I guarantee you that "intense violence", "blood", and "language" are on there. Don't get a war game if you can't handle cursing. If you can't handle cursing then go get a sports game or a racing game because that's pretty much all you're going to be able to play. But seriously, it's people like you that are screwing games up for the rest of us gamers. If you can't handle violence, sex, cursing, or other content like that, then don't play games that have that because people like you are extremely over sensitive and will go and complain in the name of "family values" and somehow mess things up for the majority of other people that want toplay those types of games. So if you can't be mature and handle cursing, don't get a game that's rated M or T and stick to playing sports games and Mario because that's pretty much all you'll be able to handle.
I hate how all these people do is criticize you on your judgement of game buying, Everybody stop answering just so you can criticize others and instead just answer with yes or no.
Go to options and there should be an option that lets you turn the swears off
No, don't get an m rated game if you can't have swearing. Just turn your tv down.
yes, go to options and it should be there. but the online people raging ... that is unavoidable.
