You cannot play multiplayer if you rented it, unless you buy a pass code for online. Which is around 1200 points (I think). It would be cheaper if you just bought the game, it comes with the game plus a free M1911. Hope this helped.How do i play battlefield 3 multiplayer if i rented the game?
If you check on the Battlefield website, they say that online retailer knows about this issue and you should contact them and ask them about this. Like the other person mentioned, you can also buy it from their website for like 10$(?)...
